Running two of these units to charge my solar nodes from Yeti Wurks, keep my units charged even through the darkest days of a MN winter. I even broke my mount by falling on it on a rooftop and Yeti Wurks made me a custom new one free of charge. The customer service is exceptional.

YetiWurks provide great product. I have purchased multiple nodes and will continue to buy from Yeti. I’d advise you to give them a try as the customer service is excellent

I got this in Christmas of 2024. I put it in the window where it would get plenty of sunlight while powering my Yetiwurks meshtastic base. It worked fine for a month or so, then the node didn’t have the power to operate. I unplugged the base, and left the panel there without anything plugged into it to charge. It was getting a green solid charge light in the daytime.
I assumed it didn’t like operating in a window, so I just left it until warmer days when I could get to the roof and mount it. Nothing was connected.
I recently remembered it, and now the battery light is just faintly lit all the time and it won’t power anything. I guess I could spend $50 on batteries to see if the issue is with the electronics or the batteries. I’ll probably just use it for target practice though.

Sorry for your issue! It definitely sounds like an issue I can walk you through resolving. If you got it in December 2024, you have the D4 version (different from the current version I sell). Part of the reason I switched versions is there is an issue that some of the D4 units developed after a few months of use. I haven’t had any of the issues out of the D5 units. Luckily, its an easy fix. I can either walk you through it, or if you send it back to me, I am happy to fix it for you. Again sorry for the issue.
